| Cameron Worth (Pettit Racing), Ari Yallon (RX-7.COM), and Steve Kan (RX-7.COM) were all on hand for what turned out to be one of the biggest events of the season. | August 22nd, 1999 - NIRA Import Challenge (Featuring the Supra Vs RX-7 Vs 300ZX Battle) |
| Stakes were high as the fastest RX-7s, Supras, and 300ZXs from around the country came to Texas for a Battle of the Supercars. On hand for the RX-7 camp were Peter Farrell and Ari Yallon's 10 second RX-7s, Supras led by the Powerhouse Racing crew, and SGP's own 300ZX which over the course of the weekend became the fastest 300ZX in the country. | July 24th, 1999 - NOPI Drag Wars & Music Festival |
| Held on a Saturday evening, this unique format for an Import/Domestic Drag Racing event proved to be very popular. Armed with our new digital video camera, we were able to capture some of the exciting runs in the Quick 8 Competition as three of our RX-7.COM cars fought for the win! | Added to the calendar as a Make Up date for the rained out March 28th event, this event proved to be more exciting than anticipated. Competition was fierce, and so was the heat. With track temperatures climbing well over 120 degrees, it's amazing so many records were broken...including our own. Click here to find out more! |

| November 15, 1998 - ID Drag Wars #3 |
| Over 500 competitors and over 10,000 spectators made this one of the largest events this year nationwide. Unfortunately, cool, foggy weather prevented the event from starting on schedule but things went smoothly after that. Five RX-7.COM cars were on hand this time for the battle and in the end, one of them walked away with the RWD Quick 8 Title. |
| August 16, 1998 - ID Drag Wars #2 |
| While not quite as hot as the last event, this one was still a scorcher. We once again entered four RX-7s into this event carrying the RX7.COM graphics on the door. Three of our cars ran in the 11's and two of the cars made it into the semi finals of the Turbo Magazine Quick 8 Competition. Click Here to find out more. |
| June 28, 1998 - NIRA Texas Import Shootout |
| Televised nationally on ESPN2, the NIRA drag events was definitely not one of our better showings. We decided to enter four RX-7s into this event which kept us quite busy cooling them down after runs in the 100+ degree heat. All of our cars ran at least a second slower than normal but luckily we had a few members of the Houston RX-7 club to pick up the pace and give the other imports a good challenge. | The first major import drag event to be held in North Texas. We brought two cars to race at this event, Andy's proven turbo 1st gen and Ari's 3rd gen RX-7 which had received a handful of bolt ons a few days before the event.
